We’re excited to announce that Tella iOS v1.10.0 is now live in the App Store 🎉!
Google Drive Connection
With this release, Tella users can now upload the data their collected on Tella directly to Google Drive. The connection can be used with a personal Google Drive folder or, for organization with a Google Workspace, with a shared drive.
This connection between Tella and Google Drive offers:
- Secure data backups: Upload files directly from Tella to Google Drive without the need for the Google Drive app and without having to move your files out of Tella on your phone.
- More organizational server connections: The Google Drive connection is the 4th server connection available. Now users can choose between Tella Web, Uwazi, Open Data Kit and Google Drive. And soon, we will be also adding support for Nextcloud and Dropbox!
- Shared Drive support: If your organization uses Google Workspace, you can easily send your submissions to a shared drive, making collaboration smooth and efficient.

Vietnamese Language Support and bug-fixes
In this update, we’ve also added Vietnamese language support to our iOS app, making Tella accessible to a broader community. Huge thanks to our friends at Localization Lab who continue to manage Tella’s localization efforts.
And, as always, we fixed a few bugs and made small UX improvements (including in this case for the Uwazi connection). Read full release notes here.
