Dear friends and partners,
July was a BIG month for Tella, with the first public releases of Tella Web and Tella FOSS! Read on to learn more about both, as well as new releases for Tella Android and Tella iOS.
Tella Web 1.0
This the first public release of Tella Web ever!
Tella Web is a way for organizations to offer their members, staff, or partners an easy way to back-up their files from Tella to a remote server. It's an easy-to-use web app that human rights groups, media organizations, or civil society groups can install on a server. Once connected to their organization's Tella Web servers, users on Tella Android or iOS can create a "report" with their files in just a few seconds and upload it. And they can also automatically upload files as they are captured--and delete them as soon as they are uploaded!

Tella FOSS 2.0.15
This was one of the most common requests we received from users: a version of Tella Android free of all proprietary libraries and dependencies. It's now a reality, with a first version available for download on F-Droid.
For now, it doesn't include all of the features available on Tella Android (you can see the differences here) but we hope to bring the missing features to Tella FOSS soon.

- Automatically upload media files to Tella Web as soon as they are captured.
- Automatically delete media files as soon as they are auto-uploaded to Tella Web.
